Skinny Girl diet guru Bethenny Frankel had a heated closed door confab with her estranged husband Jason Hoppy in Manhattan Supreme Court today.
The separated couple argued one-on-one in a glass walled conference room after meeting in the judge’s chambers about their bitter divorce.
Before their 30-minute sit down, where Frankel, 42, was seen wiping away tears, her high-powered attorney Allan Mayefsky, who handled Katie Holmes’ split with Tom Cruise, pow-wowed with Hoppy’s lawyer, Eleanor Alter.
Alter, who represented Mia Farrow, and Mayefsky engaged in a kind of shuttle divorce diplomacy, huddling with their clients then meeting in a fifth floor, courthouse hallway to hash out custody details.
Mayefsky was overheard saying that Frankel would allow Hoppy to stay in her Manhattan apartment to visit with their 2-year-old daughter Bryn, but he had to ask permission to have friends over.
The tv star also expressed concern about Bryn traveling to Florida to visit Hoppy’s parents.
Hoppy’s best friend, and the best man at the couple’s wedding just over two years ago, came along for moral support.
Frankel, who recently told Fox 5’s Greg Kelly that her divorce has been “rough” sat alone on a courthouse couch, her super skinny legs crossed and dangling a pair of 4-inch, black stilettos.
The two sides declined to comment when they left court this afternoon.
