Eliot Spitzer is turning into a big softy.
The self-described steamroller is offering to turn over all his campaign research to Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, who defeated him in Tuesday’s hard-fought Democratic primary for city comptroller.
It includes research, dirt and tips the Spitzer campaign compiled on Stringer, a campaign source said.
The Stringer campaign said thanks, but no thanks.
“We’ve moved on,” a Stringer spokeswoman said.
Stringer faces Republican John Burnett in the November election.
