Someone will die

Death comes a-knocking on the two-hour season finale of “Revenge.” How bad does it get? Very. First, a series of dangerous events already set in motion leads to a catastrophe that will, as they say on night-time soaps, change everyone’s lives forever — especially when someone dies. Will it be one of the youngsters? Or perhaps one of those nasty old rich people? Whatever happens gives Emily (Emily VanCamp) pause. We know one thing to be true: Victoria Grayson’s (Madeleine Stowe) forehead will not crease. Co-starring Henry Czerny and Christa B. Allen.

REVENGE

Tonight, 9 p.m., ABC

Wedding day

Cece’s (Hannah Simone, right) wedding day finds Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) making a decision about their relationship. Meanwhile, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) schemes with a typically overenthusiastic Winston (Lamorne Morris) to sabotage the nuptials, although a shocking announcement may be bigger than anything he has planned. Singer Taylor Swift has a cameo. Rob Reiner returns as Jess’s father.

NEW GIRL

Tuesday, 9 p.m. Fox

Graduation day

On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on fulfilling their supernatural destinies. Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) life is in danger, while Matt (Zach Roerig, far right) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) join forces to battle a ghost determined to find the cure. As everyone gathers for the ceremony and the ghosts converge, help comes from an unlikely hero. Caroline (Candice Accola, second from right) receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine (Dobrev). Finally, Stefan (Paul Wesley) discovers a horrifying clue to the mystery surrounding Silas.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

Thursday, 8 p.m., The CW

Country-western suds

Rayna (Connie Britton) finds an unlikely ally in her nasty old daddy (Powers Boothe) when he sides with her against Teddy (Eric Close) about the girls. Jolene (Sylvia Jefferies) sees Juliette (Hayden Panettiere, far right) struggling and tries to find a way to help. Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and Will, separately, both get a chance to shine with bigger stars — but will it translate to career gold? And Rayna’s little sister Tandy (Judith Hoag) takes her own agenda to the board of Wyatt Industries.

NASHVILLE

Wednesday, 10 p.m., ABC

You reap what you sow

Now that she’s been betrayed by someone close, Olivia (Kerry Washington) and her team are in very real danger — and the identity of the mole is now closer than ever. Meanwhile, the latest upsetting White House scandal pushes Cyrus (Jeff Perry) to his limits. Co-starring Tony Goldwyn and Bellamy Young.

SCANDAL

Thursday, 10 p.m., ABC

Kisses and concussions

Even with all the constant running and jumping and fighting on “Revolution,” the characters still need some kind of human contact, if only fleeting. Two hot couples — Miles (Billy Burke, above left) and Nora (Daniella Alonso), and Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Jason (JD Pardo) — find time to get it on, but disastrous drone strikes from the militia threaten them all. An assassination attempt on Monroe (David Lyons) heightens his paranoia and Georgia Federation President Foster (Leslie Hope) contemplates surrender. Meanwhile, Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Aaron (Zak Orth) push through the Plains Nation into Colorado.
