Someone will die
Death comes a-knocking on the two-hour season finale of “Revenge.” How bad does it get? Very. First, a series of dangerous events already set in motion leads to a catastrophe that will, as they say on night-time soaps, change everyone’s lives forever — especially when someone dies. On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on fulfilling their supernatural destinies. As everyone gathers for the ceremony and the ghosts converge, help comes from an unlikely hero. Caroline (Candice Accola, second from right) receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine (Dobrev). Even with all the constant running and jumping and fighting on “Revolution,” the characters still need some kind of human contact, if only fleeting. Two hot couples — Miles (Billy Burke, above left) and Nora (Daniella Alonso), and Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Jason (JD Pardo) — find time to get it on, but disastrous drone strikes from the militia threaten them all. An assassination attempt on Monroe (David Lyons) heightens his paranoia and Georgia Federation President Foster (Leslie Hope) contemplates surrender. Meanwhile, Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Aaron (Zak Orth) push through the Plains Nation into Colorado.
