‘Runway’ gal Irina slaps back at Fashion Week suit

The sixth-season “Project Runway” winner, sued for allegedly sabotaging her own Fashion Week show by arriving late, not cooperating with models and leaving early, countersued Thursday, blaming the production company for failing to hire enough models.

The star of this catwalk legal drama is sixth-season winner In her Manhattan countersuit, Irina Shabayeva, who has designed frocks for red-carpet stunners like Selena Gomez and Carrie Underwood, claims. In her Manhattan Supreme suit, the Parsons grad accuses fashion producer Trisha Prasad — who was responsible for running the double-show event, hiring models and selling tickets — of botching the job. Shabayeva says Prasad oversold the event and recruited 17 models, not the promised 25.

The diva designer says Prasad didn’t hold a casting call until five days before the Sept. 7 event, leaving her with no models for her second show and “hundreds of guests who had paid between $200 and $500 a ticket for the main event in the lurch.”

Prasad did not return messages for comment.
