Mystery death in W’burg luxe loft

An accountant was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his luxury Williamsburg loft yesterday morning, authorities said.

The body of Mark Garza, 46, was found on his bed in his pad at 184 Kent Ave. in at 8:40 a.m., sources said.

His body was found by his brother, who hadn’t heard from him in a few days, law-enforcement sources said.

There were no signs of forced entry, and the apartment door was locked from the inside when the brother arrived, sources said. Security had to let the sibling in.

Garza was found with bruising, and several spots of blood were found on the floor, sources said.

A pile of newspapers lay outside Garza’s door when cops arrived, the source said.

“When I left the building [yesterday] morning at 9, there was an ambulance and cops. When I came back at 11, a crime-scene unit was here and the medical examiner and men in suits,’’ said resident Pernille Neilson.

“I saw them wheel the body out. . . . It was strange to see this kind of thing.’’

Sources said Garza worked as a Sales Account Manager for VMware.

It’s unclear how long he lived at the historic waterfront Brooklyn property, which was designed by famed Woolworth Building architect Cass Gilbert and once housed the manufacturers of Wild Turkey bourbon.

Neighbors said studios rent for up to $3,000 a month and one-bedrooms for $4,000.
