The world’s best-loved – and most-coiffed – newsreader is back in the long-anticipated sequel to The Anchorman.
Nearly 10 years after the smash hit original, Will Ferrell’s moustachioed broadcasting legend Ron Burgundy has reunited with his old team for a brand new assignment.
Paul Rudd returns as reporter Brian Fantana and we’re treated to a second dose of Steve Carell as dimwitted weatherman Brick Tamland – as the old crew relocate from San Diego to a 24 hour news channel in 1980s New York City.
The first trailer is short and sweet, giving just a glimpse of the star-studded supporting cast – there’s no sight of Nicole Kidman, Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson or Sacha Baron Cohen.
But there’s enough laughs packed into the 90 second teaser to suggest Anchorman: The Legend Continues will recapture the magic of the original.
