He went from gay bash to gay cash!

Hollywood director Brett Ratner, who lost a chance to produce the Oscars ceremony because he proclaimed, “Rehearsal is for fags,” is now collecting A-list donations for lesbian mayoral candidate Christine Quinn.

The “Rush Hour” and “Tower Heist” director has raised $28,400 as a bundler — in charge of collecting group contributions — for the City Council speaker’s run, campaign-finance reports show.

He raised the cash with the help of such Hollywood friends as Rob Reiner and Tom Hanks.

Ratner, 44, outraged the gay community when he used the homophobic slur in November 2011 but has since publicly apologized, donated money to gay organizations and filmed gay-positive public-service announcements.

Quinn, who met Ratner through a friend in spring 2012, said she’s forgiven him.

“What Brett Ratner said when he was preparing for the Academy Awards was completely unacceptable. [But] he went about fixing it and making it better and making sure he never does that again,”she told The Post.

“He didn’t just talk the talk of an apology; he walked the walk of an apology . . . He made amends in a public and real way and has turned a mistake around into something that has become positive in moving forward,” she said.

Ratner uttered the slur during a Q&A session at a Los Angeles screening of “Tower Heist” after a moderator asked whether he rehearsed with actors.

Amid the outrage, he resigned as producer of the 84th Academy Awards.

In March, the gay organization GLAAD honored Ratner with an award for his support, at which point the director explained his use of the word had been a sorry attempt at a joke.

Ratner didn’t return calls seeking comment by press time yesterday, but a GLAAD spokesman, Rich Ferraro, said, “Questioning Brett’s commitment to the LGBT community as an ally is as laughable as questioning Christine Quinn for receiving his support.”
