WATCH: Football prospect rams into unsuspecting sideline reporter

Ah, the often thankless life of a sideline reporter.

Amy Campbell of Scout/Fox Sports NEXT was doing a sideline interview at an elite college football recruiting event when she was inadvertently run over by a player Tuesday. Thanks to FOXSports, the brutal moment was all caught on tape.

The massive hit on Campell was applied by top wide receiver prospect Ermon Lane who plowed through the young reporter with his speeding 6’2″, 193 pound frame.

Campbell claimed she sustained no injuries.

“My knee got a little bruised,” she told FoxSports. “It’s sore today, but nothing serious. It could’ve been alot worse. At least I can take a hit, right?”

Her good spirits continued onto Twitter, taking a picture with Lane, who she nearly collided with several times that day, adding the caption “Still Friends.”

She responded to her followers with more self-effacing humor tweeting, “It gets funnier every time.”
