Tuck gives the fingers to gloating Cowboys fans

Even in defeat, Giants defensive end Justin Tuck could not resist tweaking the Cowboys one more time.

Tuck, apparently tired of seeing Cowboys fans rejoice on his Twitter timeline following Sunday’s 24-21 Giants loss, posted a picture to his account showing his two Super Bowl rings from the 2007 and 2011 seasons. Note the unadorned middle digit.

The Cowboys did not return the verbal fire coming from the Giants this past week. But after derailing Big Blue’s four-game winning streak and improbable surge into the playoff picture, they finally sounded off on their big-talking rivals.

“They talked and they talked and they talked,” Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick said. “I’ve never in my life heard a team that was 4-6 talk like that. We were 5-5, and we knew we had no room to talk.”

Defensive tackle Jason Hatcher joined in, rubbing fake blood on his face — a reference to Jason Pierre-Paul’s comments during the week — and joking, “I just finished eating a Giant, and there’s some leftover blood. They said blood was going to be shed, right?”

With the hostilities rising, it’s a shame the two teams already have wrapped up their season series, with the Cowboys sweeping for the first time since the 2007 season.
