‘Outstanding busts’ dismissed after topless ‘performance artist’ agrees to stay out of trouble

A “performance artist” arrested for walking bare-breasted up the center aisle of St. Patrick’s Cathedral last year agreed in Manhattan Criminal Court today that she’ll stay out of trouble for the next six months so that the criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession charges against her can be dismissed.

Two additional cases against the serial stripper, Holly Van Voast, for going topless at the subway station at Union Square East in June and again at the subway station at 125th and Saint Nicholas Avenue in May, are also covered under today’s disposition.

“Your honor, with that, this disposition covers all of her outstanding busts,” defense lawyer Ronald Kuby deadpanned to Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Ann Scherzer this morning.

Asked why she hadn’t stripped in front of the judge, Voast, 46, insisted, “I’m not an exhibitionist,” before stripping in front of the cameras as she exited the courthouse.
