Semi-celebs find work

Reality creeps into fiction this week as the guest-star lineup features quasi-celebs playing themselves:

* “Hawaii Five-0” (Monday, 10 p.m., CBS): There are times when this tropical cop series is so much fun — Mama loves tuning in for those chase scene across the gorgeous Hawaiian landscape. But somebody over at CBS must be terrified that this potentially sexy show will give heart attacks to the Tiffany network’s geriatric audiences because “Hawaii” consistently loads up on oldies as guest stars. When you think local “real-life celebrity,” do you envision “Bounty Hunter” Duane “Dog” Chapman, who is 60 years young, and his wife, Beth, a spring chicken at 50. Seriously, is that who you want to see cavorting about in a bikini, catching a wave while solving crimes?

* “Castle” (Monday, 10 p.m., ABC): When Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) are assigned to a case in which people appear to die shortly after watching a “cursed” movie — take “The Ring,” for example — you know that Castle is going to watch the film and fear that he’s the next victim. Fortunately, he can consult with real-life horror-movie producer Wes Craven, who shows up as himself.

* “The Vampire Diaries” (Thursday, 8 p.m., The CW): We get a flashback to Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) life in 1970s New York (well before most of this series’ target audience was born). Dead Sara, the band for the episode, will be performing in the present.

* “Go On” (Tuesday, 9 p.m., NBC): This quirkly comedy regularly features real-life sports figures, as when Terrell Owens played Ryan’s (Matthew Perry) assistant several weeks ago. This week, snowboarder Shaun White competes with Ryan for a date with a flaky friend of Carrie’s (Allison Miller).
