New York driver’s licenses will switch over to a hard plastic card with black-and-white photos beginning in July, state officials said yesterday.
“This card is the most secure and the most difficult to counterfeit,” said state DMV spokeswoman Jackie McGinnis.
The new licenses will feature a second photo of the driver on a see-through window visible from both the front and back of the card.
