Club owners: Blame Brown and Drake for W.i.P brawl

Nightclub owners, targeted in a $20 million lawsuit by hoops star Tony Parker, insisted they shouldn’t have to pay for the scary fight between Chris Brown and Drake’s lackeys, according to court documents.

Parker is suing W.i.P. Club after suffering an eye injury during the bottle-throwing melee this past June. Those injuries forced the San Antonio Spurs guard to wear protective goggles during the London Olympics.

W.i.P. management claimed any Parker injuries “were caused entirely by third party defendants Drake and Brown, without any wrongdoing on the part of [the club’s ownership group].”

“By reasoning of the foregoing, if any judgment or verdict is recovered against the [club owners, then they] are entitled to contribution from, and judgment over and against … Drake and Brown,” according to the club’s lawyer Je Jun Moon.

Drake briefly dated Brown’s on-against, off-again girlfriend Rihanna.
