Palin lampoons Bloomberg’s large-soda ban at CPAC

The hockey mom took a slash at the nanny mayor yesterday.

Sarah Palin mocked Mayor Bloomberg’s notorious ban on large sugary drinks at a conservative confab in Maryland.

Addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference, Palin ducked behind the podium to whip out a jumbo-size Super Big Gulp and took a giant swig.

“Oh, Bloomberg’s not around, our Big Gulp’s safe,” she said. “Shoot, it’s just pop, with low-cal ice cubes in it. I hope that’s OK.”

Palin also singled out President Obama and Karl Rove, who President George W. Bush has described as the architect of his electoral victories.

“The last thing we need is Washington, DC, vetting our candidates,” she said. “The architects can head on back to the great Lone Star state and put their names on some ballot.
