Novak Djokovic overcame an ankle injury and beat Sam Querrey of the U.S. as Serbia advanced into the semifinals of the Davis Cup in Boise, Idaho. Djokovic’s 7-5, 6-7, 6-1, 6-0 victory gave the Serbs a 3-1 lead over the Americans in the best-of-five match. Serbia next plays Canada or Italy in September.

NFL: More surgery for Gronk?

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski “very likely” will require a fourth surgery on his left forearm, this one to remove the plate inserted in the arm in order to ensure an infection has been eradicated, ESPN reported last night.
