A Manhattan escort service, where women went for $400 an hour, kept a Rolodex of its hookers listing what they would and wouldn’t do in bed, a prosecutor charged yesterday.
“She does couples, and she does kiss,” reads the profile for a 24-year-old French escort named “Katherine,” according to Assistant District Attorney KevinWilson.
Three of the employees of Americana Escorts are on trial in Manhattan Supreme Court, charged with promoting prostitution and laundering more than $100,000 in proceeds.
What the prosecutor couldn’t tell jurors is that earlier in the day, just before opening statements, the escort service’s main operator, Itzhak Cohen, 50, of Queens, pleaded guilty to running the escort service as a prostitution business.
In the process, he implicated the three who are on trial: alleged money manager, Meir Efargan, 39, of Roslyn, L.I., his wife, Elimor Kochavi, 35 – accused of helping launder the money – and phone receptionist Irene Bonsu, 35, of The Bronx.
