Tim Tebow had to turn in his New York Jets jersey today, but he might have the chance to pull on a sexy lace number in the near future.

The potential change in uniform comes after the Legends Football League, which used to be called the Lingerie Football League, offered the former Jets QB a coaching gig.

“Now that it appears Mr. Tim Tebow’s career in the National Football League may be coming to an end, we at Legends Football League would like to extend him an offer to become our Quarterbacks Coach nationally,” LFL President Mitchell Mortaza told TMZ in a statement.

It is not yet clear what Tebow would have to do as a nation quarterbacks coach in the LFL, and financial terms of the offer were not released.

Tebow was released by the Jets this morning after 13 mostly unsuccessful months with the team.
