Chill of victory for Packers, Eagles

Including the 1997-2012 season in The Post, Cat’s record in print stands at 480-408 (54 percent) against the spread.

SATURDAY

EAGLES (-2 ½) over Saints: Saints endured more challenging schedule, and Eagles haven’t maintained sparkling form at Linc over past two seasons. But Philly’s gone 8-1 straight up against the spread in games Nick Foles engineered, and Saints covered once on the road, all season. Old story — away, Drew Brees’ quarterback rating shrivels up. The outfit that’s NEVER won a road playoff game will find themselves in temperatures a cut below freezing. Bears whomped ’em under similar circumstances in ’06. Fly, Eagles, Fly (-2 ½), for one unit.

SUNDAY

PACKERS (+2¹/₂) over 49ers: Don’t expect 49ers to shy from frigid conditions — but with Eddie Lacy lugging and a full brace of capable wideouts, Aaron Rodgers well-equipped at majestic Lambeau — and Pack’s getting points! Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan-imbued play-it-tight mode shouldn’t work (almost blew 17-point lead against Arizona last week), so don’t be shocked if Rodgers grabs the lead and holds sway over franchise which has yet to show it can close the Big Deal, in this stage of its revival. This ain’t the Falcons. Pack (+2¹/₂ ) is back — at least this week! — for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 0-2. Cougar special teams lame (BYU, minus one unit). 49ers got away with Jim Harbaugh’s conservatism — this time (Cardinals, minus one unit).

SEASON: 19-15-2.
