CRASH VICTIM TWICE UNLUCKY

A man died after he was hit by a drunk driver in Harlem last night — and his ambulance got into an accident while rushing him to a hospital, officials said. The 20-year-old victim was struck at West 120th Street and Seventh Avenue at around 10:30 p.m.

His ambulance, en route to St. Luke’s Hospital, collided with a car at Cathedral Parkway and Manhattan Avenue.

A second ambulance then took the victim to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 11 p.m. His name was withheld pending family notification.

The two EMS workers in the first ambulance were also taken to St. Luke’s with minor injuries.

The driver of the car that killed the man was arrested for DWI, cops said.
