The newly minted “American Idol” winner — who is making her first visit to New York today — wants to see her first Broadway show.
And she doesn’t know which one.

“I’ve never seen aa Broadway play before and I’m dying to go,” she said during a visit today to The Post.
This time last year, the 23-year-old singer was working at a resort on Fripp Island, S.C. renting golf carts and mopeds to tourists.
Last night, she discovered that, in Manhattan, you don’t have to turn on the light to see in your hotel room.
“All you have to do is open the blinds,” she says. “It’s that bright here.”
“I’m not used to that.”
And don’t even ask about her first trip into the subways.
“I’d heard the subways were noisy and there were a lot of people,” she says, “But I’ll admit, I was scared. I thought I was going to get run over the train.”
