Starr Report

Former “American Chopper” star Paul Teutul Sr. is back in the garage and will be back on TV — this time on CMT, and this time without his son, Paul Jr.

Teutul Sr. will star in an eight-episode series called “Orange County Choppers” starting later this year, with production on the show slated to begin this summer.

Each episode of the new series will be an hour long, with Teutul Sr. once again shown building his famous customized bikes and (inevitably) clashing with his team (which will include some new as well as familiar faces). As in the past, Teutul’s series comes to you courtesy of Pilgrim Studios and Craig Piligian.

Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. had an infamous falling out around four years ago, which triggered Junior’s leaving “American Chopper” and starting his own motorcycle-customizing business (Paul Jr. Designs). Father and son were last featured on Discovery’s “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior.”

CMT seems to specializing in returning reality stars back to the air; last month saw the premiere of the network’s “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” a new series starring former “Dog the Bounty Hunter” stars Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife, Beth.

Are John Walsh and “America’s Most Wanted” next up for a CMT revival?

Now that’s an innovative use of social media.

To coincide with today’s Blu-ray release of “True Blood: The Complete Fifth Season,” series stars Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) and Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam De Beaufort) will participate in a virtual signing — or “e-meeting” — live from Compton’s “mansion” on the “True Blood” set (go to fillintheblood.com for streaming details). They may read winning tweets posted last week by the show’s fans, who were asked to fill in the missing words from a Psalm of Lillith, with the top 10 submissions announced the day after their tweet.

Moyer and van Straten will also sign DVD copies and answer questions submitted by show followers (@truebloodhbo).
