DEVILS RULE THE WEST

The Devils have been surging up the standings in recent months, and it is not surprising that they are on the verge of breaking all sorts of team records including most wins in a season (49), and most points (111). But perhaps the most important record is the 11-5 mark the Devils have vs. Western Conference teams this season. Tonight, the Devils look to improve upon that record as the play host to the Minnesota Wild (7 P.M., MSG+. WFAN).

New Jersey has won the past five games (all at home) against Western Conference teams, and looks to keep rolling against a Minnesota, a team in which the Devils are 5-1 against all-time (with two ties).

After suffering a 4-2 loss against the Hurricanes on Wednesday, the Devils look to bounce back tonight, as the team has gone 31 games in a row without suffering a losing streak. New Jersey will look to extend its franchise-record ten game winning streak at home. The Devils have not lost at the Prudential Center since dropping a 3-1 decision against the Kings on February 7.

After tonight’s game, the team begins a tough three-game road trip with stops in Boston on Sunday, Philadelphia on Monday, concluding in Chicago on Friday.
