Rosanna Scotto & Elvis Duran team up for ‘Go To Your Room’

Yes, Rosanna Scotto and Elvis Duran really are good friends — and the New York media faves have a new TV special to prove it.

Go to Your Room,” airing tomorrow night (10:30/Ch. 5), finds Scotto (“Good Day New York” ) and Duran (Z-100) combining their whimsical sides for a look at how the other half lives — namely rock stars and local personalities.

“It’s nothing spiritual and there’s no moral to this story,” says Scotto about the show. “Elvis and I are good friends and thought it might be fun to do a little entertainment show together.

“It’s a half-hour on Friday night where you can kick back, put on your PJs and go to sleep with a smile on your face.”

On tomorrow’s special, Scotto and Duran will not only peek into the not-so-glamorous world of rock-star tour buses — vis a vis Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz — but will also profile New York characters.

“We hang out with Fall Out Boy and go on their tour bus,” says Scotto. “These guys are on the road most of their lives, and their accommodations are very small.

“We get to see where they sleep and where they shower, and where they aerate their clothes in-between — and it’s not a pretty picture.”

The duo also interviews teen pop star Austin Mahone and his mother. “He’s an adorable young teenage singer and we go backstage with him and hang out in his dressing room and find out how he tries to keep the comforts of home,” says Scotto.

They also meet up with former network programming exec Loreen Arbus — who’s also a professional tango dancer.

“She’s a New York fixture and is very well-known in the community,” says Scotto. “And she has one of the most whimsical apartments you’ll ever see. I felt like I was in ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ with its bright colors, unusual fixtures and unusual artwork.

“She took us into her closet and she even has special clothes for her dog, Poopy Doopy,” Scotto says.

“But what I found kind of different is that Poopy Doopy also has a sex toy.”

So could “Go to Your Room” lead to more specials for the Scotto-Duran team?

“We are getting inquiries about whether we want to do more of this, but both of us love our day jobs,” Scotto says. “Elvis has a great gig at Z-100 — he’s heard all over the country — and I have Greg [Kelly] on ‘Good Day New York,’ who keeps me on my toes and amused.

“This is just a fun project, very casual and laid back, like you’re listening to a conversation between friends,” she says.

“It’s a good time to de-stress on Friday night — it’s like, ‘Let’s just have some fun.’ ”
