Paula Abdul is reportedly coming back to “American Idol” Wednesday night for Simon Cowell’s final show.
Paula, who left the show last summer at the end of Season 8, agreed to return for a “special send-off” planned for Cowell.
Several past-season winners are also said to be on the guest list — the same night a new “Idol” is to be crowned.
Cowell, who is going to bring an American version of his own talent show “X Factor” to Fox next year, is said to be in talks to re-unite with Paula on his new series.
Abdul’s departure from “Idol” stemmed from her contract demands — but it seems that all is forgiven now, on both sides.
