The railroad had a 100 percent on-time record on Tuesday, with all 659 runs east of the Hudson and all 61 runs west of the Hudson running exactly on schedule.
Metro-North’s last perfect weekday was April 29. The railroad has also had four perfect weekend days this year.
So far this year, Metro-North trains east of the Hudson river have averaged 97.7 percent on time performance. The west-of-Hudson trains, operated under contract by NJ Transit, have run 96.6 percent on time.
