Was Chelsea Handler joking about getting Kanye West and Taylor Swift together at this year’s MTV “Video Music Awards“?
Handler, who is hosting the “VMAs” this year, went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday to talk about her upcoming gig and said, “I want to go and film some ridiculous stuff, and see if we can do something with Kanye, because I always talk about Kanye.”
At last year’s “VMAs,” West grabbed the microphone from pop singer Swift during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video and said the award should have gone to Beyonce for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).”
Referring to West’s outburst, Seacrest asked Handler, “Do you want to go after Kanye this year?”
Chelsea admitted she’d like to have their makeup reunion on her watch.
“I’d like to get them together. We’ve never really seen them together since then. They were supposed to be together on ‘SNL,’ but then that didn’t end up happening,” Handler said.
“We’ll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun,” she added.
The “VMAs” will air Sunday, September 12.
