Five teens attempted to rob and beat up a man at the corner of Bond and Carroll streets on Nov. 18.

The 40-year-old victim said that three men and two women surrounded him at around 5:38 pm, clubbing him over the head and in the face. The gang ran off, but Officer Darnell Simon quickly arrested four members of the posse on Degraw and Hoyt streets.

Nail Columbia

A man punched another man in the nose after a quarrel on Columbia Street on Nov. 18, but he didn’t get away with it.

The 49-year-old victim said that he was arguing with the man at around 6:25 pm when things grew violent. Cops arrested a 37-year-old man and charged him with assault.

Petty theft auto

Someone stole a man’s property from inside his parked car on Henry Street on Nov. 18.

The 39-year-old victim said that he parked his 2006 Ford near Union Street at around 11:20 pm, but when he returned 20 minutes later, his $250 Blackberry was gone, as were five bottles of prescription medication and his wallet.

Open scare PM

A man was clobbered in the back of the head on Hoyt Street on Nov. 17.

The 53-year-old victim said that he was walking past a group of three men near Carroll Street when he was struck for no apparent reason at 4:13 pm.
