Kelley’s ‘Wonder Woman’ reboot grounded

Call it a “good news/ bad news” scenario for David E. Kelley.

NBC has rejected Kelley’s much-hyped revival of “Wonder Woman,” but is expected to renew “Harry’s Law,” his new series starring Kathy Bates which premiered last fall.

“Wonder Woman,” an update of the popular ’70s series starring Lynda Carter, generated a lot of buzz, particularly for the skimpy outfit worn by star Adrianne Palicki (as the LA crimefighter who’s also a successful corporate exec).

But NBC execs were reportedly disappointed when they screened the pilot, and killed the project.

Kelley can console himself with a “Harry’s Law” renewal, if the series is picked up for a second season when NBC announces its fall schedule next week.
