Former GOP mayoral candidate Joe Lhota has snared a new job as senior vice president at NYU Langone Medical Center, officials said Friday.
The former MTA chairman, who will also serve as vice dean and chief of staff, is coincidentally taking the post just vacated by Mayor de Blasio’s new first deputy mayor, Tony Shorris.
Lhota has also held top positions at Madison Square Garden and Cablevision.
