Body found in Prospect Park

A man was found dead and partially clothed in a Brooklyn park Sunday night.

The body of a 50-year-old New Jersey man was discovered, clad only in underwear, in a lightly wooded area off Prospect Park West around 10:25 p.m., law enforcement sources said. The victim’s clothing was found near the man who was pronounced dead at the scene, sources added.

The victim had no immediate signs of trauma, so investigators are waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death, sources said. 

Cops are withholding the name of the victim for family notification.
