The Giants yesterday signed six rookie free agents and released two players from their roster, defensive back Andrew Shanle and tight end Marcus Freeman. Both ended last season on the practice squad.
The new players include four offensive linemen: Guards Andrew Bain (Miami) and Camell Stewart (LSU), center Digger Bujnoch (Cincinnati) and tackle Dylan Thiry (Northwestern). Also signed were defensive tackles Joshua Muse (Louisiana Tech) and Ogemdi Nwagbuo (Michigan State).
The Giants will hold a rookie mini-camp May 9-10. The seven players selected in last week’s NFL Draft are expected to attend.
