Garden greats deliver punchlines in Letterman Top 10

David Letterman had his laughs Monday night as he hosted Madison Square Garden sports legends on the Late Show to deliver the Top 10 list of their career highlight at MSG.

Former Knicks Walt Frazier, Bill Bradley, John Starks and Larry Johnson participated, as well as Carmelo Anthony, in advance of next week’s re-opening of the renovated Garden.

10. Walt Frazier: “Dishing and swishing, hooping and swooping and a bunch of the other rhyming crap.”

9. Rod Gilbert: “One time after a game, there was an extra puck, so the coach let me keep it.’’

8. Larry Johnson: “The day I finally learned Knicks was short for Knickerbockers.’’

7. Adam Graves: “It is a tie. Winning the Stanley Cup in 1994 and Disney on Ice.”

6. John Starks: “Being featured on the kiss-cam with Jeff Van Gundy. ‘’
