GAMING FIRM LOSING BIG

ALBANY – A gaming firm hoping to take over New York’s large and lucrative lottery operation risks losing a similar deal in Australia for poor performance.

Greek gaming giant Intralot hit the skids Down Under just months after winning an upset bid – earning it a stern rebuke last week from the red-faced government.

The firm fell $144 million short of its $187 million revenue goal after it ousted the previous vendor, the Melbourne Herald Sun reported.
