Rep. Carolyn Maloney, who, sources say, is seriously considering a primary challenge to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, will be feted at a fund-raiser this morning, with a host committee stacked with potential fellow rivals for the position.
The host-committee list on the invitation for the event includes Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-LI), both of whom have made very clear they’re looking to challenge Gillibrand.
Other possible challengers on the list are Rep. Steve Israel (D-LI) and Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-Manhattan).
