The city Campaign Finance Board is looking into some contributions Rep. Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign received from a model-studded fund-raiser – including some from foreign catwalkers who aren’t allowed to donate, sources said.

The board is examining donations from models and others that Weiner put forward for taxpayer matching funds because the checks listed the same address.

Meanwhile, Weiner’s campaign yesterday cited a “clerical error” as to why it included donations from three foreign models – who aren’t allowed to donate because they aren’t citizens or don’t have green cards – in its campaign filing last July.

The campaign insists it never deposited the money, but didn’t specify why it hasn’t yet amended its report to show it was returned.

CFB rules say that a donation must be deposited or returned within 10 days of receipt.

“The campaign never accepted or deposited these checks, and complied with the rules in returning them,” said Weiner spokesman John Collins. “
