4 MORE NYC SCHOOLS CLOSE FOR SWINE FLU

Four New York City school buildings are closing because of swine flu, as teachers and students returned Friday to four reopened schools.

The school buildings closing Saturday are P.S. 58 in Maspeth, Queens; P.S. 160, in Borough Park, P.S/I.S. 384 in Bushwick, and P.S. 138 in East Harlem.

The buildings house more than one school, closing a total of eight schools and programs. The closings are an attempt to slow the flu’s spread within the school community.

Swine flu has closed at least 31 public and private schools in the city within the last week.

State officials say New York City has a total of 240 confirmed swine flu cases. A Queens school administrator died from swine flu last Sunday.
