2 Bronx bandits preying on elderly

Cops are searching for two heartless bandits posing as utility workers who have struck at least three times in the Morris Park section of The Bronx.

The pair first struck on Jan. 9, targeting a 71-year-old man, who was distracted by one of the suspects while the accomplice sneaked inside, cops said. But the victim caught on and the duo fled in a gray van.

In two Jan. 10 incidents, men posing as city workers snatched jewelry from a dressing table inside an 89-year-old’s home, and cash from an elderly couple’s dresser.
