Have I told you lately that I never took my road test?
Rod Stewart has admitted that road manager Pete Saunders sat in for the rock legend on his British driving test 46 years ago, according to a published report.
The 1967 passing grade allowed Stewart to continue driving until he moved to the United States eight years later and passed a driving test, The Sunday Times of London reports. He’s now licensed to drive on both sides of the Atlantic.
The admission appears in the autobiography “Rod,” released in October.
