This Halloween, Rocky Horror is a glam dunk!

THIS fall, fashion designers may not be breaking out the water pistols and rice for a midnight show, but they have unwittingly pillaged the wardrobe of a ’70s cult classic, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

In 1975, scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter, his handyman Riff-Raff, domestic Magenta and groupie Columbia were gender-bending their way into movie history, with a campy sci-fi horror musical that became an audience-participation sing-along favorite and the longest-running feature in theaters of all time.

Decades later, you can still buy a ready-made Frank-N-Furter costume, complete with garter and fishnets. But better yet, you can shop your closet for the costume: Glam Goth rules.

Designers as diverse as Balmain, Givenchy, Prada and Dior all have elements of the notorious double feature, from biker to boudoir, black to bedazzled.

MTV decided not to go ahead with the remake, but you can go ahead and do the time warp again — in style.
