Kelly, who moved back to right field, fired to Chris Bates, who turned and threw a strike to Kinsley, who tagged out the potential tying run at the plate in the bottom of the eighth for Regis (9-6). Salesian fell to 2-11.
Monsignor McClancy 7, St. Francis Prep 4: J.P. Lipovac scattered eight hits for the complete-game victory and Alex Miden went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and three RBIs for McClancy (7-6) Monday afternoon at Cunningham Park. St. Francis Prep fell to 8-5.
Bishop Ford 13, Christ the King 0: Miguel Ariza and Jonathan Pineiro combined for the shutout and Matt Molbury belted a three-run home run over the leftfield fence to lead Bishop Ford (9-4) Monday afternoon at Juniper Valley Park. Christ the King is now 2-11.
Archbishop Molloy 3, St. Edmund Prep 0: John Duggan went the distance for the complete-game shutout, Stephen Lopez, Jonathan Ramon and Dean Sadik each had a hit and an RBI and Phil Loprete had a double for Molloy (8-5), which also beat the Eagles, 9-0, in the completion of a suspended game Monday at Stanner Field. St. Edmund fell to 3-10.
