Shark photobombs beach snap

It’s a great white photobomb!

This menacing shark sneaked into a mom’s snapshot of her son and a friend paddling in the waters off Southern California.

“It was quite a shock to see [the shark in the photo],” shocked mom June Emerson told KTLA-TV in Los Angeles.

Emerson’s 12-year-old son Quinn and his friend had no clue an ocean predator was so close by, during their visit to Manhattan Bech.

The mom has told her kid that’s not Jaws in the picture — pretend it’s Flipper.

“Many local surfers and lifeguards have seen this and believe it to be a shark,” she said.

“Of course, I told my kids it was dolphin, as we live at the beach and are in the waters here almost daily.”

There’s been a spike in shark sightings off Manhattan Beach.

“The sharks didn’t seem to be paying me any attention,” 38-year-old surfer Jay Dohner told the LA Times earlier this month after an incredible close encounter with a shark.

“They looked like they were looking for fish, so I felt I could stand there safely and watch them.”

Dohner was awed by the sight, but not for too long.

“There are two different things in your head,” he said. ” ‘Wow, that’s beautiful,’ and ‘We should get out of here.'”
