Kardashians for Bebe

Kim Kardashian was born to design for Bebe. In the ultimate pairing of retailer and celebrity, Kardashians for Bebe is everything it needed to be — short, tight and so bodycon you’ll have to skip lunch and dinner to wear it.

Outfitted in a hooded, skintight grey jersey dress with an attached faux leather bustier and black Louboutins, Kardashian swanned in almost 35 minutes late to her own 10 a.m. show, posed for the photographers carefully — turning to the side to work her famous derriere into the frame — and parked herself front row between Jonathan Cheben and Simon Huck. Good thing too, since Kardashian is producing the duo’s E! reality show airing next week.

Braving the elements — including sideways blowing snow — an eclectic mix of girls dressed like they were heading to a Long Island nightclub packed in to a 10th Avenue venue for a glimpse at the clothes, most available in stores now.

Jumpsuits and rompers ruled, as did teeny tiny leather shorts. Kardashian favorites including shoulder pads, one-shoulder dresses and oversized boyfriend blazers were also well represented.

“My stylist has always been bringing me pieces from Bebe and they’re amazing,” says Kardashian, adding that the jeans are the only ones that fit her. “And I always ask her to give me more pieces from Bebe. I love mixing higher end pieces with lower end.”

The three K’s — Kourtney, Khloe and Kim — put their pretty brunette heads together to come up with their lines “Kardashians for Bebe,” in stores now. The trio has signed a five-season deal with the retailer.

“The line definitely has a very sexy element which I think embodies all three of us,” she says. “Designing is an expression for all of us. And it’s so cool designing with my sisters since we all have different body types. And I think we did a good job from the price point to the fit, the cut and the fabrics. It’s all very generous and very flattering.”

Too bad Kardashian didn’t champion the cause for curvy girls on the runway. Despite killer curves herself, all the models were rail thin.
