Even fatherhood can’t make Alec Baldwin mellow.
The hothead actor slammed a photographer against a car outside a West Village cafe yesterday — just days after Alec and his yoga-instructor wife, Hilaria, welcomed a baby girl into the world.
The temper-challenged “30 Rock” actor — who can’t seem to stop getting into smack-downs with paparazzi — grabbed a freelance photog and pinned him against a car near The Grey Dog on University Place.
At about 12:00 p.m., lensman Paul Adao was shooting video footage of Alec, 55, and Hilaria, 29, when Alec lashed out in front of dozens of witnesses.
A horrified Hilaria futilely tried to stop Alec, then watched with a frown and placed a call as he unleashed his wrath.
A shaken Adao called 911 call shortly after.
“I was just attacked by Alec Baldwin,” the photog said, according to a source. “I’m in the store. I need the police.”
Cops did not file a report and made no arrests, police sources said.
This past winter, Alec lashed out verbally at a Post photographer, and last summer punched a photog outside the Manhattan marriage-license bureau.
Adao declined to speak of yesterday’s incident.
“I can’t say anything. I really can’t say anything about it,” he told The Post.
A friend defended Alec, telling TMZ, “What kind of sick, twisted psychopath chases a woman who just got out of the hospital from having a baby?”
