‘Blurred Lines’ model lands film gig

Emily Ratajkowski, the dancing model who stole the show in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video, will play seductress to Ben Affleck in David Fincher’s adaptation of the whodunit novel “Gone Girl.”

The model is in advanced talks to play Andie, a beautiful college student who has an affair with Ben Affleck’s Nick Dunne in the film version of Gillian Flynn’s international best seller, The Wrap reports.

Affleck plays a man who becomes a suspect in the unexplained disappearance of his wife Amy, played by Rosamund Pike. It’s the revelation of his affair with Ratajkowski, one of his students, that throws his innocence into question.

If everything goes to plan, the model will join a supporting cast that already includes Carrie Coon, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit and Neil Patrick Harris.

The role would immediately become the highlight of the London-born Ratajkowski’s filmography. Prior to the “Blurred Lines” video, her biggest parts were guest appearances in Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” and Fox’s “New Girl.”
