Perv cookbook author gets 11 years for luring girls into harem

A perverted cookbook author who turned his suburban Westchester home into an international harem stocked with foreign au pairs was hit with an 11-year sentence Monday in Brooklyn federal court.

Joseph Yannai, 68, lured recent high school graduates from Hungary, Mexico and Denmark to come serve as assistants at his $800,000 Pound Ridge home, prosecutors said.

But once in his clutches, the bearded freak forced the young women to perform sex acts on him and restricted their access to the outside world.

“Yannai controlled all aspects of the women’s lives, including limiting their contacts with the outside world, monitoring their telephone calls and forbidding them from wearing bras,” according to his indictment.

Yannai – who has twice tried to kill himself in custody – ensured rampant jiggling inside his posh home by forbidding his young victims from wearing bras.

Two of the duped women – who ranged in age from 18 to 22 – sobbed on the stand during Yannai’s trial last year as they relived the horrors he subjected them to.

Prosecutors scoffed at the wizened wacko’s claim that the young nubiles willingly engaged in sexual activity with him.

He opted not to speak before Judge Edward Korman handed down his sentence.

Yannai – who self-published “The International Who’s Who of Chefs 2004-2005,” was convicted by a jury after two days of deliberation last year.
