What a loser!

A man with a long criminal history jumped behind the counter and attacked a clerk at a Bensonhurst Rite Aid after the clerk refused to pay him for what the thug claimed was a winning lottery ticket, law-enforcement sources said yesterday.

Boozed-up Sebastian Papaleo, 31, stumbled into the drugstore on Bay 40th Street, near 86th Street, at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday and told the clerk he had won the Lotto jackpot, the sources said.

“He went nuts,” one source said.

The man insisted he had won and demanded the clerk pay him and then charged behind the counter, according to law enforcement.

The crazed ticket-holder then allegedly ripped the clerk’s pants pocket off and demanded the clerk open all the registers, sources said.

Papaleo was arrested and charged with robbery, cops said.

And it really wasn’t his lucky day: While Papaleo was waiting in Central Booking for his arraignment hearing, law-enforcement officers found drugs on him and charged him with drug possession as well, the sources added.

He can add that to his 25 prior arrests on charges that include drugs, criminal contempt, violating a court order and robbery, the sources said.
