Girl, 4, wounded in Yonkers crossfire

A 4-year-old girl was shot in the arm when she got caught in crossfire on a Yonkers street Friday, cops and her family said.

“The child doesn’t appear to be the intended target,” said Yonkers Police Lt. Philip Collins, adding that “several persons of interest” were being interviewed.

“I heard her crying. She was shot on her left arm near her wrist,” said the girl’s aunt, Angela Aguilar.

The shot tot’s father said she was going to be fine, Aguilar said.

Police were interviewing several “persons of interest” near the scene, Collins said.

The girl was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx after the shooting.

The shooting took place near Locust Hill and Palisade avenues at about 4:30 p.m. No other injuries were reported.

No arrests had been made last night, Collins said.
