Nearly 100 members of the Crips gang and their associates have been charged in a sweeping NYPD undercover investigation designed to destroy their drug operations in three Far Rockaway housing projects, officials said.
Half the suspects lived in the projects: the Ocean Bay Houses, the Beach 41st Street Houses and the Ocean Village development, where they made more than 200 sales to undercovers in seven months, said Queens DA Richard Brown and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.
