Manhattan

This bandit tried to rob a bank in Midtown, authorities said.

He walked into the Bank of America on Third Avenue near 59th Street at around 9 a.m. Wednesday and handed the teller a note that stated, “I have a gun. You have 5 seconds to hand over $100s and $50s or people dead. Don’t f–k with me,” sources said.

The teller ran into the bank vault, where she tripped an alarm, causing the would-be thief to flee empty-handed, cops said.

Police are closing in on the man they say shot four people inside a West Village hot spot.

They released a photo of the suspect (left), who they say in an aspiring rap group that had hoped to perform at S.O.B.’s nightclub on Varick Street at around midnight Sept. 12, cops said.

But when the club’s management refused to let them go on, the jilted rapper pulled out a gun and shot four people in the legs and fled, cops said.

This thief barged into an empty West Village apartment and stole an expensive purse filled with cash, authorities said.

The crook entered the building on West 11th Street at around 1 p.m. Nov. 14 and made his way up to a fourth-floor apartment, where he pushed his way through the door, cops said.

Once inside, the burglar snatched a Louis Vuitton handbag containing around $500 before walking out of the building.

Brooklyn

Police have nabbed one half of the raunchy duo who performed an hourlong twerk-and-grind session in front of a Clinton Hill apartment building Dec. 4 before one of them slipped in and stole Christmas packages, authorities said.

Akintunde Mills, 47, was arrested Friday, about a week and a half after he and his booty-shaking female buddy got down and dirty in front of the Washington Avenue building.

The woman was caught on surveillance video twerking just outside the main entrance, giving Mills a broad-daylight lap dance at times as neighbors came and went from the building.

Authorities say Mills then went inside and ripped open Fed Ex packages sitting in the hallway of the building and stole more than $200 worth of clothing.

Mills was charged with burglary, possession of stolen property and criminal trespassing, cops said.

Queens

A woman was attacked by a gunman while unloading her car in the driveway of her Fresh Meadows home, authorities said.

The 66-year-old victim was taking packages out of her car at around 11 p.m. Dec. 5 when the thug stuck a gun in her face and demanded that she hand over her jewelry, cops said.

The victim started screaming, and the thief smashed her in the head with the butt of the gun and ran off.

The victim was treated for cuts and bruises at an area hospital, cops said.

The robber is in his early 20s, around 5-foot-11 and about 180 pounds.

The Bronx

Two hapless thieves tried to rob a pair of South Bronx treat shops, but failed both times, authorities said.

The would-be crooks first walked into a Carvel on Morris Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. Dec. 7, and one (pictured right) pulled out a gun while his female accomplice acted as a lookout, cops said.

The pair made off with an employee’s purse, but dropped it while fleeing.

They struck again at around 6:30 a.m. Friday, hitting a Dunkin Donuts on Prospect Avenue, cops said.

The employee behind the counter refused to hand over any money although she was slapped in the face, and the pair fled empty-handed.
