Beyonce drops surprise: Sexiest album yet

Beyonce shocked fans by releasing a surprise studio album on iTunes  —  complete with 17 sexy new videos — that  sold a whopping 80,000 copies in the first three hours on Friday, according  to Billboard.com.

Her self-titled fifth album came with zero promotion or warning to fans, a bold move the singer said comes alongside ground-breaking new visual tracks.

“I see music. It’s more than just what I hear,” the 32-year old star proclaimed.

“When I’m connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they’re all connected to the music,” she said.

The Post’s Hardeep Phull describes the album as Beyonce’s “most brazenly sexualized album to date.”  The videos feature her husband Jay-Z,  baby Blue Ivy and former Destiny’s Child band mates.

They also show the gorgeous star dressed up as a courtroom judge, riding a roller coaster in Coney Island and posing in a skimpy 1920s-style outfit.

In a video posted on Facebook, Beyonce described the album as a conceptual project that she hopes can match the experience of Michael Jackson’s epic “Thriller” video.

“I feel like right now people experience music differently,” the artist said. “I remember seeing ‘Thriller’ on the TV with my family. It was an event…I miss that immersive experience.”

Tracks on the  “exclusive visual album”  also include appearances from Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and Drake.

The album features 14 tracks,  including “Pretty Hurts” in which  Beyonce plays a troubled beauty queen hooked on diet pills and  “Drunk in Love,” in which she dances on the beach in Brazil.

A source told Billboard magazine the album sold 80,000 copies on iTunes in three hours, roughly half of what Garth Brooks new album raked in during its first week.

The announcement came as a complete shock to music lovers and fans on social media.

“I seriously need a valium right now!” Perez Hilton ‏tweeted.

A parody account for “Jesus” also expressed surprise at the sudden release.

“Yeah I’m just learning about this Beyoncé thing right now too,” said “Jesus Christ.”
